Victoria Keast

RAD RTS CBTS/ISTD RTS CDE

Principal and Ballet/Tap/Jazz /Modern Theatre Teacher

Victoria first stepped into the dance studio aged two and hasn’t stopped dancing since! Victoria studied under Lynn Hill when the dance school was the Lynn Paula School of Dance, working her way through her grades and on to her vocational exams up to Advanced Level. Victoria also gained her GCSE Dance at A* under Ruth Simmons-Dave and her A Level Dance at A grade under Tracey Tickle. From a young age Victoria performed in professional pantomimes and musical theatre productions across the county and competed in dance festivals around the South West, often winning gold or silver medals. A particular highlight was playing the part of a “Lost Boy” alongside Nicki Reid’s Peter Pan! As a teenager Victoria knew she wanted to teach and eagerly assisted with Lynn and Nicki’s classes. After studying at the Royal Academy of Dance (London) and Dance Academy South West (Bristol), Victoria gained Registered Teacher Status with both the RAD and ISTD (qualifications – Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and Certificate in Dance Education). Victoria bought the school in 2010 and Victoria’s Dance Academy was born. Victoria is immensely proud that VDA is now the largest and most well established school in Falmouth and the surrounding area, full of wonderful dancers of all ages.
